Sparkling Pomegranate Champagne Drink

Pomegranate Champagne | Sweet Remedy

Say farewell to 2012 and hello to 2013 with this Sparkling Pomegranate Champagne Drink! 2012 has been a great year for so many reasons. Sweet Remedy has opened many different doors to places I never knew I wanted to go. I’m more motivated and inspired creatively than ever before and I feel really good about my future. I am about to start my last semester of college (for now) and I’m in an extremely healthy, satisfying and stimulating relationship with someone who I just absolutely adore.

Recently, I’ve been having some health issues but I’m trying (trying being the key word) to see them as a blessing in disguise. A real serious reason to do the things I’ve wanted to do for the last 10 years of my life, lose weight and feel better about my body and health.  I am trying to be hopeful and optimistic about the future. I got through 2012 alive; even though a lot of people didn’t think we would make it through the end of December 21, 2012. I will make it through 2013 and become a college graduate. I will focus on my health and try to de-stress my life. Hey 2013, I’m coming for you.

This drink is special because it is loaded with pretty pomegranate seeds and it sparkles. It is perfect for celebrating the New Year as it highlights a classic new year’s taste with a pomegranate juice twist.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year while I sip on this drink later tonight! Good luck in 2013.

Sparkling Pomegranate Champagne

If you are scared like me, you'll want to have someone else open the champagne bottle for this drink, and then promptly run away.

1/3 cup pomegranate seeds
6-8 ice cubes
1/4 cup pomegranate juice

Such a pretty way to ring in the New Year. :) I hope your health issues improve. I have the same goal for 2013–I want to be healthier!

Healthier and my health go hand in hand! I’ll be making more recipes from Oh My Veggies that is for sure. ;D It doesn’t seem to be too serious anymore. Ruled out the more serious conditions so I am feeling more optimistic about it all. I honestly think it is just heartburn. How silly do I feel?
