Once upon a time… During the summer of 2010 and 2011, I ran a booth at my local farmers’ market selling baked goods. I sold mostly cupcakes, cookies & brownies and this is where my love for fresh, local and seasonal foods blossomed. While I’ve gone back to school and won’t be at the market for the 2012 season, I will visit often to get my bounty of produce, sweets and dairy products. I encourage all of you to use more local ingredients in your recipes! I hope that I will eventually be able to become a vendor again and be a part of the local food movement in the Hudson Valley!
